Job Summary
As an Assistant Executive/Executive in R&D, you will play a key role in supporting the Research & Development department in the innovation, testing, and development of new cosmeceutical products. This entry-level role involves assisting in research, product formulations, testing procedures, and documentation, with an opportunity to contribute to the creation of high-quality products that align with Bio-Xin Cosmeceuticals’ mission.
Key Responsibilities
Research & Product Development: Assist in the research and formulation of new products, ensuring they meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
Lab Testing & Analysis: Support the testing of raw materials, formulations, and finished products, conducting quality checks and ensuring adherence to company standards.
Product Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate records of all R&D activities, including lab reports, formulation notes, and product specifications.
Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with the Product Development (PD) and Quality Control(QC) teams to ensure smooth product development from concept to market.
Innovation & Trend Analysis: Assist in identifying new trends in the cosmeceutical and skincare industry, providing valuable insights to inform future product formulations.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all products being developed comply with local and international cosmetic regulations, including labeling and safety standards.
Support Testing Protocols: Help in organizing stability and efficacy tests, as well as gathering results and performing initial analysis.
Product Feedback: Gather feedback from various departments, including sales and customer service, to refine products or develop new product ideas.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Cosmetic Science, or a related field.
Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Basic knowledge of product formulation, cosmetic ingredients, and industry regulations.
Attention to detail and ability to conduct precise laboratory work.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Experience: Previous experience or internships in R&D, chemistry, or the cosmetic industry are preferable but not mandatory.
